Become a Bridge Builder: Volunteer with Bridge Kids!

Do you have a heart for supporting the next generation? Bridge Kids, our faith-based, holistic after-school program for children in 1st through 6th grade, is looking for compassionate volunteers.

We operate Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, providing a safe haven where vulnerable students receive academic support in English fluency, reading, and mathematics, all within a nurturing spiritual foundation.

Why Volunteer?

  • Make a Tangible Difference: Witness firsthand the growth and joy in a child’s life.

  • Live Your Faith: Put universal values of dignity, generosity, and love into action in a meaningful setting.

  • Join a Caring Community: Become part of a dedicated team united by service and shared purpose.

Ready to help build a stronger foundation for our community’s children? Your time and heart can change a life.

You're also invited to help support after-school programs in Arlington by attending an assembly on March 27th at 7 p.m., at Kenmore Middle School. The meeting is hosted by VOICE, a coalition of faith-based and community organizations, who wish to draw attention to the need for after-school programs for vulnerable and under-resourced families.

For more information on how to get involved with Bridge Kids, please email Alvaro Alarcon at aalarcon@bridgebuildersva.org. Together, we can build bridges to a brighter future!
