New Volunteer Opportunity Page

Would you like to help your community flourish, but you’re not sure how? Check out our new Volunteer Opportunity page, which lists all the ways you can serve through Arlington Bridge Builders. Are you free for an hour or two before heading into work? You can help unload and stack food for your neighbors facing food insecurity. Would you like to help immigrants practice speaking English, so they can better navigate their adopted home? Sign up to be an English Conversation Partner. Would you like to introduce at-risk kids to the greatest story ever? You can volunteer at our upcoming Vacation Bible School.

Signing up is simple: first, you’ll select a volunteer opportunity that most interests you. Then you’ll create a brief profile and answer a few questions, so we can stay in touch. After that, you sign up for a shift—and then just show up on the date ready to serve.

The page will soon list roles and needs that are “flexible,” meaning that there’s no set timeframe; we just could use your help whenever it’s convenient for you. We’ll also display group projects that are on our “wishlist,” just waiting for the right team of volunteers. And if you don’t see something that matches your time and talents, just let us know and we’ll try to create a great fit.
