Bridging The
Next Generation
The next generation faces unprecedented obstacles to flourishing. When the lack of opportunity, social isolation, and limited resources dominate a child’s life, it’s hard to be hopeful about the future.
You can make a difference.
Arlington Bridge Builders has established two faith-based programs designed to meet the needs of at-risk children and teenagers, helping to put them on a pathway to a thriving future. By addressing the whole person through caring relationships, Bridge Kids and Bridges To Success help kids build the academic, social, emotional and spiritual bridges they need to flourish. Bridge Kids
Bridge Builders is working closely with elementary schools and neighbors in South Arlington where the reading and math proficiency rates are among the lowest in the county, largely because the students struggle in English. In close cooperation with their parents, the school and the community, we provide a free, five days a week “Entry to English” program that includes sports and activities.

Bridges To Success
Building on the foundation offered to elementary students in our Bridge Kids program, Bridges To Success provides a safe place where teenagers can engage in mentorship and collaborative work. This initiative helps develop youth at a critical time in their lives, providing a holistic, faith-based program for teens and their families.
